1. FEATURES - Mailware includes the features you would expect in an order entry system as well as some special features you can use or ignore if they do not suit you. Additional features are only a click away while also tucked neatly to the side where they will not interfere with normal use.This is an intentional design as it provides depth without increasing the learning curve. 2. TECHNOLOGY - Mailware uses a self-contained SQL database (no separate SQL server required) and offers a client/server option. This is superior to relational databases. Data corruption is highly unlikely, security is much better and you can manage a much larger database, as well as up to 100 users. Any Windows network (including peer to peer) will work. For client/server we recommend 2 Gigs of RAM on your server.
   
    
3. EASE OF USE -  Mailware’s interface is very streamlined and easy to use. This design allows for quick access to commonly used features (order entry, customer management, and inventory) as well as easy access to deeper features. Built-in security can be used to limit access to any features as well. Mailware also includes a built-in Remote Assistance feature that allows us to demonstrate the software and provide technical support directly on your desktop.
   
    
4. TRIAL DEMO -  Use the demo and its tutorials before you buy. You can even enter your own data then unlock the demo and retain your work. 5. CUSTOMIZABLE -  We offer custom programming that allows you to order changes to the actual program. These changes are made part of the core software so you can download free and paid upgrades later when new versions are available without losing your features (see our Custom Programming page for details). Mailware also includes free database and scripting tools you can use to make changes to your data, export data, change prices, send mailings etc. You can download these and more on our Extras page.
    
    
6. REPORTS -  The included report writer is very powerful and easy to use. Over 100 pre-built reports are included which you can edit. Or, you can create your own. The report writer is one of our customers’ favorite features and is included free with Mailware. You can learn more about the report writer by reading our online tutorial. If you do not want to write your own custom reports you can simply order them online.
    
    
7. ACCOUNTING -  Mailware 2007 added a new export to QuickBooks feature that truly keeps the two software packages in sync.
