Credit Card Support

Mailware mail order software supports several third-party software packages. This gives you the freedom to choose your own merchant services provider and software. Costs for various software packages vary. For comparative purposes Authorize Net is a complete provider and software solution. To integrate it with Mailware you need only purchase xAuthorize for $130. This solution is comparable to the service offered by Mail Order Manager (MOM) which also uses Authorize Net.

Interactive Credit Card Authorization System (ICCAS)

This module is essential for anyone doing extensive credit card business. It completely automates card authorizations and transactions direct to your bank or credit card network. Card purchases can be approved/transacted in real time from the order entry screen while the customer is on the phone, or in batch prior to each run of order processing. This module includes an interface to a M.O.M. online credit card processing gateway and requires a broadband or 'dial out' internet connection.

Customer Contact Log

Telemarketing Module (TMM)

List Management Module (LMM)

The module includes a sophisticated query building tool that enables you to precisely select customers based on customer type, product purchased, advertising source, gross dollar amount spent, number of orders, geographic location, date of last activity, number of mailings, even any of your own customized customer fields. Once you build a list query, you can save it and run it over again at a future date to create the same type of list for another purpose. And, you can save each list too. Use a saved list as an "exclude" statement against another list to eliminate people that you’ve already mailed to previously. Finally, there’s even a built-in de-duping routine to make sure that you don’t mail to somebody more than once.

Point of Sale

No need to learn a separate system for your retail sales. Mailware's point of sale (POS) system uses the same order screen with the option to exclude customer information. Enter products manually or scan them with a bar code. Print receipts, authorize credit cards, accept cash or checks. Sales tax is calculated automatically too.

Point of Purchase Module (POP)

This module turns any M.O.M. station into a "cash register" for counter sales. A special order entry screen, similar in appearance to the regular M.O.M. order entry screen, enables you to take an order with or without customer information In addition, order payment methods are designed especially for counter sales with Credit Card, Cash or Check as options. The module computes tax and change due to customer and prints a register receipt. Reporting for register sales, products sold, and sales tax is included through the regular M.O.M. reporting options

Annual Maintenance Fee

With your Mailware mail order software purchase you receive a free year of email support. Phone support is available for $60 per hour ad hoc or $50 per hour prepaid. Dot upgrades (those within the same version) are always free. Version upgrades are offered at substantial discounts. You do not have to pay an annual fee, or maintain a service agreement to take advantage of this service.
