Upload new products and edit existing on channels (web stores)
 

Instructions
Search for an existing product to edit or add a new product. Then enter product information and quantities.

  1. You can add a new product, or search for an existing one, by clicking the appropriate link on the Mailware Explorer. Or, simply click the Find or Add icon below.

Channels
Create online products for products in your inventory. 

  1. Find or Add a product as described above. Or, click a link below.
    Click here to find an existing product.   Click here to add a new product.
     

  2. Click the tab for the Channel you wish to work with (e.g., Amazon) or hold Alt and press N to switch between tabs.



 
On this screen you can add one or more versions of this product to your web store, change products and schedule events.
 

Add or Edit a product for this Channel

  1. Click the button to create a new product on your web store (or select an item from the grid to edit it). The item will appear in the grid and you can edit its attributes in the following example fields (Note: Fields vary by channel):

    Listing Details (Fields may vary by Channel)
     

    • Account - Select the account you set up in Preferences for this channel that you would like to use for this product.
       

    • SKU - Accept your Product Number in Mailware as the SKU for your channel or uncheck the box to enter your own SKU.
       

    • (Example) ASIN - Enter any channel specific field information. In this case the ASIN is a part number required by Amazon.

    Pricing
     

    • Price - Accept the current retail price of the product in Mailware or uncheck the box to enter any price you wish to use in your channel listing.
       

    • On Sale - Check this box to set a Sale Price, Start Date and End Date in the fields below it. The listing will return to the Price set in the previous field before and after the start and end dates.

    Status
     

    • This area will display the current status of the selected item in the grid. To activate or deactivate an item click the or buttons. You can also entirely. Changes on your channel will appear after the scheduled upload as described in Additional Options below.

    Additional Options (Fields may vary by Channel)
     

    • Leadtime to Ship - Select a number here if you need additional time to ship an order. Many channels require you ship within a certain number of days unless otherwise specified.
       

    • Launch Date - Select the date you would like the item to appear in your web store.
       

    • Allow gift message option - Check this option to allow this item to have a gift message when ordered on your store.
       

    • Allow giftwrap option - Check this option to allow this item to have a giftwrap option (usually at an extra charge set by your store).


  2. After entering all data click the button to finish the listing. After your scheduled upload you can view the item on your store by clicking the button.

    NOTE: Orders for items appear in the Process Orders feature automatically at their scheduled time which you can specify in Channel Preferences.
