SubProduct Lookup

Lookup Subproducts on orders and in inventory using options pulldowns.

Instructions
You can use the Subproduct feature in Mailware to set up items that are essentially
identical except for their size, color and other descriptors (e.g.,
brand, flavor, pattern, etc.). In inventory or when you take an order for a Subproduct (product with options) you can use the Lookup feature to
make locating the item easy and intuitive.

Create an Order as described in the help topic:
Take
an Order.
Or, open the Product screen by clicking the Inventory button in
the Main Menu, or the Product button if you are using Category
View or Large or Small icons.
Click
here to open the Product screen.

For Products, click the Find Icon
on
the toolbar.
Or,
For Orders, In the Product Grid enter the items ordered by the
customer.
 Click in the first field to highlight it, then type a Product Number, or
click on the button,
or press the F2 key to open a
product search screen.
The Product Search dialog will appear. Click the Subproducts
tab.

Select a Subproduct Code from the
pulldown.

The Available Options for the selected code will
appear (e.g., if you select Flowers in the sample database then
the options Type and Color will appear.

For each pulldown select an option. As
you do so the matching products in the Results Grid will reduce
in number until only one item remains.

At any time during the selection of options you
can highlight a product and add it to the order or right-click
it for more information.
