Find or Add a product as described above. Or,
click a link below.
Click
here to find an existing product.
Click
here to add a new product.
Click the Product tab or hold Alt
and press N to switch between tabs.

Enter or edit your Product data in the screen that
opens. You can use the Tab or Enter key to move between fields. When you
cursor is on a button press the Space bar to activate it. Or, simply use
the mouse.
Enter as many price levels as you need in the
Pricing section of the screen. Note: Prices are charged to
customers based on their price level setting on the Customer
screen Additional Info tab.
Click
here to open the customer screen.

For each price that you wish to add quantity
discounts to click the
button. The following screen will open.

Tip: The Price Level field can be used to
move between price levels without the need to return to the
Product screen.
Enter a Base Price for the product. This
is the amount that will be charged for any number items that do
not qualify for a quantity discount.
Enter ranges for your discounts. You can start
with 1 or skip to the first number range at which discounts begin
(e.g., 12-23). Enter in the From Qty the lowest number at
which the discount applied. You may enter a whole or fractional
amount.
In the To Qty enter the highest number
for which a discount applies.
For each line enter the price for each
individual item in the Unit Price field. This is the price
that will be charged for all items sold in a single line item on a
single order (e.g., if you have a range of 10 - 20 at $5 and you
sell 15 items the total charge for all 15 items will be $75 [15 x
$5]).
Repeat steps 9 -11 for each range you wish to
add. In the final range you can enter only a From Qty. All
quantities sold above that amount will receive the Unit price for
that line.
When you are done click the
button or select another price level to work with in the Price
Level pulldown.
